the Guide |

Hi,
my name is Chuck Rollins. I am the founder and owner of
BigCrappie.com and FishCedarCreekLake.com.
I
am the only
full time Guide Service on Cedar Creek Lake. I guide about 6
days a week on Cedar Creek Lake. I run 1/2 and full day trips. I
also employ two other guides through out the busy seasons. I
spend most of my time fishing for Crappie, White Bass, &
Hybrid Striped Bass. I will occasionally seek out Catfish when
conditions are perfect. We will fish from either our LUND boat that will comfortably fish 4 adults, our 2009 24ft SKEETER that will comfortably fish 8 adults or our 24ft RANGER that will comfortably fish 6 adults.
I
love to take kids fishing and teach them how to out fish Mom or
Dad. I really enjoy teaching others new techniques on how to
catch more fish. I currently have helped my customers land four
crappie records & one Hybrid Striper record, & one
White bass record on my boat. One of my goals every
year is to have one of my customers catch a new record.
This year in 08 we have done just that! To try your luck at a
new record or if you just want to go have a great time fishing
give me a call and I will put you on some fish too. |

Meet
Jason Anderson,
avid
white bass and crappie angler. Enjoys fishing competitive
crappie tournaments. He has fished cedar creek lake for many
years & knows the lake extremely well. He is an excellent
multi-species guide. Knows how to find the crappie, white bass,
and hybrid stripers very well.

Meet
Lane Palmer
Graduating from TCU, he has made Cedar Creek and www.BigCrappie.com his new home and full time profession. He is an excellent Crappie, White Bass, Hybrid and Catfish angler. He has a special interest in the Crappie and Catfish. He also, as all of our guides, has a great personality and is an excellent teacher.

Meet
Chris
Chris is the latest addition to make bigcrappie his home and full time profession. He really enjoys taking kids fishing and teaching them the skills they need to become avid anglers. He has fished Cedar Creek Lake for many years and is very familar with the lake. He enjoys targeting crappie, sandies, hybrids, and catfish with his favorite pursuit being crappie.

the Lake |

Cedar
Creek Reservoir
was impounded in 1965 and covers approx. 34,000 acres.
Species of fish include Largemouth bass, White Bass, Hybrid
Striped Bass, White & Black Crappie and Channel, Blue &
Flathead Catfishes. From
Dallas
, Cedar Creek is about 1 hour
south east on hwy 175. My favorite thing about Cedar Creek is
the BIG Crappie & fast action white bass fishing.
Crappie can be caught year around using different proven
techniques. White bass and Hybrid Striper can also be
caught all year around.
